It's hard to believe August is nearly over.  With the month starting out with Dad's funeral service, then Katie & Jordan's wedding, then school beginning for Joe and Emily, the month has flown by.  I would like to think we are past the 100 degree temps.  Those temperatures mean 45 minutes of watering a day just to keep the flowers alive. We planted Katie and Jordan's wedding hydrangeas in front of the porch.

Leah just shared that our sweet Matthew Thomas is starting preschool!  It will be fun to watch him learn and grow.  Time flies.  

We are also counting down time until Zach returns home.  We will update you when we learn more.  Goodbye, August.
