11.16.12 Computer woes

Our computer is limping along.  It is very annoying! Every time we use it, we need to completely shut it down and reboot.  Sometimes it even freezes right in the middle of something.  Is it worth spending $200 just for someone to look at it and assess what needs to be done?  Or should I bite the bullet and just spend money on a hard drive?  This is impairing our functionality and ability to communicate! Even Emily is sending technological recommendations!
