5.30.13 Black Hills vacation, day 2, Sylvan Lake and Needles

Following a DELICIOUS lunch at Black Hills Burger and Bun in Custer, we proceeded on the Needles Highway and hiking at Sylvan Lake.

Sylvan Lake, and all lakes in the Black Hills, are man made. 

The rock formations are simply amazing!

They were set up for a wedding.  Can you imagine a more beautiful setting? 

Joe wanted to rent a paddle boat in the worst way, but the cost was really expensive, and we opted not to.
