4.6.13 Pinewood Derby

Yesterday was the result of a lot of hard work by Dad, and some by Joey as well.  This year they decided on a design for a Pencil Car for the Pinewood Derby.  It is very hard to win for speed, but most people bring cars that are cars, so the pencil would give us a shot at most unique! The Pencil car won 2 trophies!  Most unique, and 5th place in the den for speed.  

Joey had to come back to for the city races in the evening.  Our pack was strongly represented!  Joey was 7th in the city for speed, and very close to a trophy!  

Grandma came to watch too.  A good time was had by all!  Joey is thinking ahead to designs for next year.
